Watch the video in Section 10.12.6 and complete the problems below.


  1. Download Figure 10.12.4 onto your device. Then, identify all the points at which pure invariant reactions occur. That is, one of the transitions shown in the video that occurs via just heating or cooling (not overall compositional change), and there are no other phases present during the transition (e.g., primary phases).

    Hint: There are more than two and less than six.
